De La Cabeza a Los Pies: Head to Toe (Spanish Edition)
Book: De La Cabeza a Los Pies: Head to Toe (Spanish Edition)

Chest Thumper
Rating: 4 / 5
After I read this to my 15-month old for the first time, he remembered the gorilla on the cover, and that in the book the gorilla thumps his chest. Now, whenever we say "gorilla," he thumps his chest, and we recite the book text to him, which is, "I am a gorilla, and I thump my chest." Sometimes he thumps his chest w/out prompting, and we also recite the text to him. I believe the text and pictures are interesting for young toddlers, especially if read with a rhythm. However, as far as imitation goes, probably 18-month olds and older would best grasp these pictures, what the text means, and how to imitate what the animals are doing.

Another beautiful Eric Carle book
Rating: 5 / 5
It was a joy reading this to my two year old, who after a few times through, now knows the pictures so well she can recite the text all by herself. I purchased this as a stocking stuffer for Christmas, and I'm completely happy I did. We hope to expand our Eric Carle collection soon. The stories are so easy for children to grasp (at least of the ones I have seen) and the illustrations are interesting and colorful.

my baby loves it
Rating: 5 / 5
My 2 year old knows this book and loves this book. She knows what the next page will say before I can turn the page. She loves copying the actions of the animals and my wife laughs whenever she acts like a monkey. It is a nice book for young children.
