Absolutely Wonderful
Rating: 5 / 5
This was The Best love story I have ever read. From beginning to end, I was fulfilled.

"Beautiful African American Love Story"
Rating: 5 / 5
I feel that this book was a beautiful love story for African Americans to read. It gives you a sense of what real black love is and should be. This book is definetely for the grown and mature crowd. It just let's you know that real love does exist among the african american society. Even though it's through a story such as this. It is a must have on your bookshelves! I am not Ms. Jackson's promoter or anything, but just a fan of this particular book and I recommend it to all my friends. I hope you all enjoy just the same.

Pretty ok read...
Rating: 4 / 5
This book was ok. I bought it a couple of weeks ago and took the time to read it this week. I will say that this book kept me interested til the very end. I do not think anything that happened was far-fetched. I'm not one who enjoys books that are overly-sexual, so that was a drawback for me. Especially since a lot of the sex was loose and very irresponsible. That being said, I think the book (storywise) was interesting and I enjoyed the round up of the characters at the end.

My only gripe is with the character Johnny and how his story wraps up nicely at the end. It just tickles me because it reminded me that if you write a novel, you can have it end anyway you please, LOL. Read the book and you'll find out.
