This story is quite a different tale of what else, a stranger. While driving his truck, Farmer Bailey thinks he something. He did. A person. When Farmer Bailey realizes the man he hit has lost his memory, he takes him back to his farm. At the beging of fall while seeming to like Farmer Bailey and his family, the stranger learns he must leave. But why? This is a really good book with great illustrations for kids older than ten.

I think The Stranger was a interesting book.Troughout the whole book it keeps you guessing about who the stranger really is. A farmer thinks he hits a deer but comes to find out he hits a man. The stranger come to live with the farmers family because he seemed to have lost his memeory. The man stays and helps out and when his time comes to leave he does. The book is very good i would give it two thumbs up because it keeps the reader guessing.

Confusing, yet well written.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have acomplete stranger live in your house? A stranger that doesn't even talk? This farmer hits a stranger on the side of the road and decides to take him in until he gets better. This book is somewhat confusing, yet very well written. The illstrations are very well done. I give this book a 4 out of 5 stars.
