Delicious and unique!

I have a pretty extensive collection of cookbooks, but the Crazy Plates and Looney Spoons books probably get used more than the others combined! The recipes are flavorful and unusual...not your typical (i.e. boring) chicken and rice type.

Great Low Fat Cooking
Rating: 5 / 5
I love this cookbook. I am in the process of really trying to revamp the way my family eats and this cook book, as well as Looney Spoons, is a huge hit. I have tried numerous recipes and all have been a hit, including several I used at parties where everyone asked for the recipe. The Less-On-Ya Lasagna is a fabulous, veggie loaded dish that is really good. I really like these recipes because they don't use a lot of fat free cheese or sugar free items. Those are things I call fake foods and I am not fond of low fat cooking that relies alot on those. I prefer recipes like this that add vegetables and seasonings to give the food flavor. The goofy jokes and stuff are OK, but the recipes are fantastic, easy to cook foods that your family will love.

The cookbook I always go to
Rating: 5 / 5
Within the first two weeks after I had purchased this cookbook, I had prepared seven dishes - and each was delicious !!! The sweet and sour pork recipe was better than even the best restaurant version I've had. Don't miss the enchilada casserole either - everything in the book, so far, takes little time to prepare and is wonderful - especially great to use for dinners after you come home from work - as long as you have some fresh vegetables around the house, you'll be able to find a tasty recipe.

I think this cookbook is so great - I've given it as a gift to my mom and a couple of friends.
