A Very Strange Dollhouse (Eek! Stories to Make You Shriek)
Book: A Very Strange Dollhouse (Eek! Stories to Make You Shriek)
Written by: Jennifer Dussling Sonja Lamut
Publisher: Grosset & Dunlap
Average Customer Rating: 5 / 5

A great scary story that kids will love.
Rating: 5 / 5
This is a great scary story for kids because it will make them THINK. It's like an episode of the Twilight Zone, and gives them that wonderful "A ha!" moment that shows they're really involved in the story. This is much better than all the other "horror" books and TV shows out there, because it shows young readers that a story can be quiet and thoughtful, but still scary and fun.

a great scary story for boys AND girls
Rating: 5 / 5
This book tells the Twilight Zone-like story of a creepy girl with a mysterious doll house. It's scary in an understated way--something to get kids thinking and the perfect story to begin discussion between parents and kids. It's also perfect as a basis for helping kids write their own scary stories.
