Horse lover's Dream Book
Rating: 5 / 5

The part I liked about this book is when Sam was working with Dark Sunshine to try to calm her. The part I didn't like was when Mikki started the bunkhouse on fire. They should have added more about the Phantom in the story. Another reason that I chose this book is because it is the third book in the series of the Phantom Stallion that I was reading. My favorite part in the story is when Sam spends time with the Phantom. A part that made me mad was when the rustlers starved the buckskin. I felt happy when Sam became friends with Mikki. I would give this book five stars. For all horselovers out there, the Phantom Stallion series is for you!!!

Phantom Stallion is a Great Series!!
Rating: 5 / 5
I have read the first thirteen of the Phantom Stallion series, and Dark Sunshine is one of my favorites. Like all the Phantom Stallion books, a lot of different story lines are presented throughout the book. You get to know not only the human characters, but also the horses, each of which have their own personality as well. I really enjoyed the excitement of a fire. I highly recommend the Phantom Stallion series for any horse lover!

Dark Sunshine Review
Rating: 5 / 5
I thought Dark Sunshine was a great book. I liked it because it was very adventurous. It was adventurous when Sam (Samantha) had to catch 4 horse rustlers (horse theifs.) Sam Forster is the main character in Dark Sunshine and the rest of the Phantom Stallion series. At Sam's family's ranch (River Bend Ranch) the BLM which is the Willow Springs Wild Horse Center wants to start the HARP program using River Bend Ranch. Their first student's name is Mikki (Michelle.) She has a VERY VERY bad reputation. She used to smoke and she is only 11 years old! Brynna Olsen who works at the BLM kissed Sam's dad and Sam hates Brynna for doing that. Then Brynna has to take Sam to try to get the rustlers. Sam really hates being in a car with Brynna because she kissed her Dad after a big event in the book. Jake and Jen Sam's best friends both go to Darton High School with her. All in all I really liked this book.
