Wake Up And Smell The Coffee : Advice, Wisdom, and Uncommon Good Sense
Book: Wake Up And Smell The Coffee : Advice, Wisdom, and Uncommon Good Sense

Very Good Book... Ann Landers Was Awesome
Rating: 5 / 5
I'm such a huge fan of Ann Landers! I read this book after her death, actually, but she continues to inspire me. A while before she died I started to cut out her newspaper columns and store them... But reading a book of them is better!
Very funny and extremely weird in some parts, and sad or gross or touching in others. I recommend it. It's entertainment!
As always, Ms. Landers gives her brilliant advice... And even if you don't always agree with what she says, it'll get you thinking. And that's something, isn't it?

Buy this book!
Rating: 5 / 5
I admit it...I go straight for the Ann Landers column in the paper before anything else. This book is great to have around because you can enjoy Ann's column anytime you want. All the classics are in here too: Poems, tear-jerkers, and laughs galore. Every kind of ailment and family squabble is commented on. Better than the Springer show. ha ha

I loaned my copy to my retiree parents. They made the book last by reading one printed column a day. I couldn't be that patient. I liked it so much, I couldn't put it down and felt compelled to write notes in the side margins! I've never done THAT before or since buying this book.
