The indoor pirates are as unusual and awkward a band of pirates as you are likely to find - particularly on dry land. Their adventures are so silly and un-piratical that all children are sure to giggle as hard as mine did while reading this charming book. Captain Blackpatch's unnerving driving lessons and Bald Ben's escapades are only outdone by identical twin pirates Polly and Molly's fantastically funny bickering. Although written by a Brit the jokes and vocabulary are easily understood by any American child. An unqualified thumbs up.
