Great novice tutorial!
Rating: 5 / 5
Used this book to pass a Window's profiency exam. Information is an excellent tutorial with superior illustrations and step by step procedures to accomplish most user level tasks. Information is geared toward the novice and is written in laymen terms. If you're new to computing I'd put this on my desk.

Colorful and Helpful in Times of Strezzzz!
Rating: 5 / 5
After buying several other computer books about Window 95 and 98, I was greatful to stumble across this book. MS Windows is great in many ways, but frankly I am having more than my share of problems understanding this whole system. This book takes me by the hand and gently walks me through a number of tasks that would otherwise leave me a bit baffled. I don't recommend it as the only book; Windows 98 for Dummies has been a good companion, but this book is long on colorful pictures that, imagine that, look just like my computer screen. The pictures tell the story and text is limited to just the facts you need to click the mouse and move on. If you recently purchased Windows 98 and have questions, I recommend this book.
