They Lived Ever After
Book: They Lived Ever After
Written by: Barbara J. Olexer
Publisher: Joyous Publishing
Average Customer Rating: 5.0 / 5

A Life Worth Living...
Rating: 5 / 5
This is a 5-star read! If you're looking for a book with soul, this one has it. In fact, it has 3 of them. "They Lived Ever After" is the story of 3 souls journeying six lifetimes--together. They are all over the map, in all kinds of situations. In an African life as members of the Bantu tribe,
husband and head wife live happily with their growing family until raiders kill all but the husband, who is away on a trading trip. He sets out to take revenge but finds himself taking responsibility for the safety of an enemy woman instead.

In another life, the husband is a Japanese-American at
the outbreak of World War II, pursuing a singing career. He and an American ballerina fall in love in Vancouver, British Columbia, but must put their relationship on hold while he returns to the States to help his family through the ordeal of internment. The two meet again in Italy where he is with the famous 442nd Battalion and she is on a USO tour. Each life is
richly imaginative with complex characterization, vivid settings, and logical plotting. As Mr. Spock might say, "Fascinating."

I'm adding Barbara Olexer to my list of favorites.

A compelling and thoroughly engaging story
Rating: 5 / 5
Now in a large print edition, They Lived Ever After by Barbara J. Olexer is a compelling and thoroughly engaging story of present struggles and past lives. When the marriage of Pat and Starla Mayhew (two young professionals) fractures due to excessive stress, the separated husband learns of past life regression, a technique that takes him on an adventurous odyssey as he learns that he, his estranged wife, and another soul have shared a changing bond throughout the centuries. A fascinating journey through time and space, They Lived Ever After is highly entertaining and enthusiastically recommended for anyone requiring a large print format.
