One of the best raw recipes book
Rating: 5 / 5
This is one of the best book of raw recipes I've ever bought. The recipes are simple and taste with no fancy ingredients.

The Definitive Book on the Raw Foods Diet, with Recipes!
Rating: 5 / 5
How to transform your life in record time with
the most delicious and energetic food on the
planet! This book is an essential addition to
the library of any serious student of health.
It is my absolute number one favorite book on
health and raw foods. Not only that, but it has
the best recipes I've ever made.

If you want to learn about health, you've got to
study those who have mastered the art of healthy
living. You must look to the world's two best
health and healing retreats, "The Tree of Life
Rejuvenation Center" in Arizona, and "Hippocrates
Health Institute" in Florida. Brian Clement is the
director of Hippocrates and his book is required
reading. Dr. Gabriel Cousens is the director of
the Tree of Life, one of my favorite places in the
United States. They are always coming out with new
research on the optimal diet for humans, which is
the Rainbow Green Diet.

I have too many recipe books in my collection and
most are just collecting dust. Rainbow Green is one
recipe book I use almost daily. No other recipe book
comes close to this one! The cakes, cookies, soups,
salad dressings, sauces, fermented foods, crackers,
and other recipes turn out great. They are not
complicated to make (in comparion to the other raw
books) and they don't require much preparation besides
the basic soaking of nuts and seeds. This is the only
book that has recipes for vegan kefir drinks and
essential oil delicacies.

The Rainbow Green Live Food Cuisine discusses how the
use of high powered microscopes allows one to analyze
blood. Author Dr. Robert O. Young discovered that many
diseases were caused by microscopic organisms in the
blood such as yeast, mold, fungus, and bacteria. These
organisms enter the blood through various food and
beverages, they are fed by foods high in sugar, and they
thrive in an acidic body.

In Rainbow Green you'll discover how to create a perfect
pH level of 7.4 in your body to prevent the microorganisms
from growing. You'll discover which foods to eat and which
to avoid for regaining and maintaining your health. These
foods are classified as low-glycemic, high-mineral, and
high-vibrational foods.

This book covers much more than just food. It has chapters
on how to raise babies and little children on a raw foods
diet. One chapter discusses how to reduce jet stress, jet
lag, and it gives various yoga poses for the airplane.
You'll discover how and what to sprout, how to grow high
mineral organic foods, why it is essential to eat organic
foods, effects of pesticides on children, the many benefits
of enzymes, How to dramatically increase your life-span
using the secrets of a "Calorie Restricted Diet", modern
research on living foods, what exactly superfoods are, how
to travel on a raw foods diet, what kitchen appliances
you'll need for your kitchen, and so much more.

This book has totally changed my life and I am so grateful
for Dr. Cousens and the Tree of Life. I'd like to address
two common complaints about the book. The first is the
compaint that the Rainbow Green diet has about 70% of it's
calories from fat. It is true that many recipes are 70% fat,
but the high fat recipes aren't designed to be eaten alone.
In the book, Dr. Cousens clearly states that our diet should
consist of 15% to 25% fat, and no more! If you're eating a
diet of more than 25% fat then you're not eating Rainbow
Green.

Another compaint is that people have a hard time eating
enough food or calories on this diet. The answer is simple-
Juice and Blend! Drink green juices daily (made with mostly
leafy greens, leafy green sprouts, cucumbers, celery, and
wheatgrass), and blend daily (Make Green smoothies with 60%
fruits and 40% leafy greens)

Give this diet a try and I guarantee you'll experience the
greatest health of your life. Even if you don't do the diet
100%, you'll fall in love with these recipes.
