Faith in a Mustard Seed

Mustard Seeds Musing
Rating: 5 / 5
This book shows us the truth that people are the same everywhere. Far removed from big-city crime and suburban "keeping up with the Joneses" this story, set in Appalachian West Virginia, wonderfully combines criminal hatreds with family and neighbor joys and friendships, but also dark jealousies. Little Birch and Sutton are real towns with real people and the full gamut of human experiences. This story is a sobering notice that the "country" and the "slow-paced life" are illusions, only fancies that people who have never had a chance to experience true little- town life carry in their imaginations. Mrs. Pike has done a wonderful job in character description and story development. The story line is fast-paced and exciting. I recommend this book for an excellent, enjoyable reading experience.

I can imagine myself as the main character.

This book had me from the beginning! The vivid imagery enables you to fully immerse yourself in the story.

I love the twists and turns that make you back up and reread every now and then.

Don't miss this one!

Faith in a Mustard seed - excellent read
Rating: 5 / 5
I thoroughly enjoyed this book, even though it is not the type of fiction I usually read.

Well written and suspenseful with detailed character development. Kept me involved and absorbed from the first to the last page.

Excellent reading, has all the makings of a television mini-series!
