Inferno
Book: Inferno
Written by: J.T. Hampton

Fasten Your Seat Belts
Rating: 5 / 5
Lock the doors and take the phone off the hook! Master storyteller J.T. Hampton weaves a nightmarish gallery of terror sprinkled with a touch of humor. Gory, graphic and gripping, "Inferno" is one of those books that can't be put down until its jaw-dropping conclusion. Horror aficionados, take note: there's a new kid on the block. Is it possible that first-time author J.T. Hampton is the 'love child' of Stephen King and Anne Rice?

INFERNO
Rating: 5 / 5
I have read some of the most disturbingly horrific accounts of crimes to have ever occurred in Man's entire history on this planet... or so I thought! This has to be the most disturbing yet wonderfully creative piece of literary work I have ever read! I could feel Nikki's pain and in a way, I could relate to her darker, more sinister nature. I think this is just what has been missing from today's writers. I can't remember I time where I have read ANY piece of literature that has made me feel what INFERNO does: Awe, Rage, Disgust, Passion, Sympathy... EMPATHY! If I ever see you again then please sign it for me because you will be a famous writer, someday I am very sure.

JT Hampton is not kidding when he says this book is not for minors: the horror is extremely gruesome and there are also some sexual fetish themes throughout the story. However, the book hooked me from the first page and I could NOT put it down - it is non-stop action from start to finish, and even the character development was fast-paced. Also, especially in a horror novel where people come and go (get killed) so quickly, it can be difficult to establish believable characters - but JT Hampton manages it extremely well. I found myself picturing the individuals in the story and it felt like I knew them from somewhere. I KNOW there will be a sequel and I already cannot wait to read it. If you can handle the intense detail of Inferno, I STRONGLY recommend it as an excellent addition to any horror collection.
